My name is Perry (she/he/they) and I'm very passionate about the LGBTQ+ community and the arts! I do queer neurodivergent outreach in the Philippines
(IG @bonggamixer), mixed media art, video/content creation for multiple social media platforms, and am constantly crafting and trying to hone my skills by letting things be. I am constantly inspired by the brightest colors of the
world and the warmth of humans.
An acrylic painting directly inspired by
Waltz of the Flowers by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
(I had a very clear vision of this painting in my mind before I even began. I stuck to a dark background as a nod towards Renaissance paintings (such as Rembrandt) and took it out into the light with a contemporary watercolor mimic in the upper half of the painting. The orange wave is a sound wave based on what the song sounds like to me. The flowers are 3D, again attempting to mimic the classic texture of oil paintings from the Renaissance Period but doing it in a more modern sensibility.)

Chinatown videography time!
A cute surprise New Year's trip from my
girlfriend to connect with my Chinese heritage.

Final high school final art project was to make
a high fashion piece out of recycled materials only!
(used newspaper as base, magazine cutouts for flowers, and leftover acrylic plastic from duvet bag. Styled and shot on me with a Samsung S8 camera (hence the poor quality image.)
Rainbow crotchet bag designed with my own personal pattern!
(composed of double, single, & triple crotchet stitches, two square granny squares and one hexagon granny square. finished with an elastic filled handle and a long tie along the rim with "twirly whirly's" at the ends.)

1960's inspired Valentine Shoot inspired by the misogynistic ads of the era and turned into queer and feminist allyship!

Final project I did that combined my love of fashion and art! All about how the higher the skirt signaled a peak in women's rights and society's economy,
and the fall - the opposite.

1960's Lisa Frank sock monkey for art class!
Made this sock monkey and promotional poster all from scratch!
(hair is acrylic yarn with flowers in the hair, whole monkey is made from socks and stuffing, dress sewn from scraps and everything is sewn with a variety of stitches!)

Halloween genderbend vampire inspired photoshoot done to showcase my found identity as a nonbinary person and editing prowess!
